Buying a Master Franchise

If your ambition goes beyond that of being a franchisee and you would like to become a Franchisor, the quickest route (if you don’t already have a business that can be franchised) may be to import a proven system from abroad.

As the Master, Regional or Area Franchisee of an overseas system you will be acting as a Franchisor with the responsibility for recruiting and supporting your own network of franchisees. You will be assisted and trained in this by the Franchisor, who will often engage us to add to that support.

Some of the largest franchise systems operating in the UK are run by master franchisees. A master franchise opportunity has much greater potential than a unit franchise, but the stakes are higher and it is likely to be a longer-term investment, so you will need more capital. It is also a completely different business to being a franchisee and you will need some experienced help during negotiations and beyond if you are to succeed.
